The Muskegon Polish Festival, spanning 2 days, features Polish cultural delights like food, polka music, and dancing, alongside various activities. Everyone, regardless of ethnicity, is welcome to immerse themselves in this authentic Polish experience at the heart of Muskegon. With a spacious dance floor, there are ample opportunities for lively polka dancing and mingling with fellow festival-goers

Come meet and watch Anna Hurning from the Polish food blog, Polish Your Kitchen, do a live cooking demonstration of some of her favorite Polish foods.

“Anna shares memories of growing up in Poland in the 80s and 90s, and Polish food and customs patiently kept alive at her Polish-American home. While not a professional chef, she is a home cook influenced by years of listening, watching and tasting, who's constantly craving flavors and smells of home.”

Stop by the camp

Stop by the encampment of the Swordsmanship Museum and Academy to learn more about the unique Renaissance style of the Polish Military, the Hussars. Check out their website here for more information on the work they do!

Explore Our local history

Take a trip through Muskegon’s local Polish culture at our history tent! From authentic clothing to the stories of those who helped shape Muskegon, there will be plenty to experience!


Raffle

Raffle Table

Stop by  the raffle table located in the center of the park to purchase a chance to win a wide variety of prizes that include a booze basket, lottery ticket board, Polish Pottery, and more.  Tickets $2 each or 3 for $5.

50/50 Drawing

Each day will have a 50/50 Raffle with five chances to win.  Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.  

JEEP Raffle

Buy a chance to win a 2016 Red Jeep Wrangler, 4-door, with hard top; retail price of $18,784.  The raffle will revert to a 50/50 drawing in the event less than 900 tickets are sold.  Must be 18 to enter.  One winning ticket will be drawn between 8-8:15 pm on August 31, 2024.  Tickets can be purchased at Hackley Park near the Jeep until 8:00 pm on 8-31-2024.  Tickets are $25 a piece or 5 tickets for $100. 


Children’s Area

Bring the kids to the southeast corner of Hackley Park (area closest to corner of Webster Avenue and Third Street) to enjoy sidewalk chalk and games.  Take pictures of your children in front of our Polish cut-out face boards. All activities are free of charge.

Face Painting:  Friday, 2pm to 7 pm and Saturday, 1 pm to 6 pm

Bounce House:  11 am to 8 pm, each day

Animal balloons, magic and caricature drawings by John Marek :  1 pm to 6 pm, each day
